I wanted to capture the ambience of what sounds like a windy, howling scenery. Almost as if the wind had a sore throat but still chose to make noise on this brumous day. The soundtrack quickly disintegrates into a barrage of eerie pitches that resembles a dog barking and howling. what stands out to me is the un predictable pacing of this track. it becomes clear that this isn’t just a scenery familiar to any of us. the dog barks become piercing to our ears, downright intense and filled with pain. I used these elements to create a rather bleak background to visualize the wind and used 2 main colors to summarize the anomalies of this track. I used titanium white with a mixture of Indian yellow. For the foreboding figures, I used that same mixture but added a magenta pigment. The yellow mixture was able to neutralize the magenta. I wanted to create figures that were had an unambiguous form, almost recognizable but not quite able to fully take shape.
